Looks can be deceiving. We’re in a listed building that appears rather old and non-descript from the outside but walk through the door, and you’ll find everything is modern and spotlessly clean. Our party studio has air conditioning, mirrors and even a sprung floor. There’s also colourful EFX lighting, which adds to the party ambience, together with a professional sound system.
What are your Party times?
The Windmill Studio Centre hosts children’s birthday parties every Friday after school, weekends throughout the year and weekdays during school holidays. Our parties are for 1-10 years, boys and girls. They are hugely popular so it’s best to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Pop Video Parties are also available from 7 years - adults.
What’s included?
Prices range from £14.75 - £22.75 per child. Included in the price is:
If 1 - 4 years, the price also includes soft play.
All of our parties include VAT so there are no hidden extras unless you choose some or all of our optional extras:
How do I know what type of party to go for?
If you’re not too sure what party to go for, the best thing to do would be to find out if your son or daughter has a preference. Alternatively feel free to discuss it with us and we can advise you. We know what children enjoy so no matter which one of our parties you choose, you can be sure they’ll be varied and thoroughly entertaining.
What’s not included
All you provide are the party bags, unless you order from us at an additional cost, and the birthday cake plus candles and whatever you would like the cake wrapped in e.g. serviettes, foil. You also send out the invitations we provide, once your non refundable deposit has been paid and let us know 7 days prior to the party who is attending. We take care of the rest.

Specially tailored for babies from 3 months – 1 year old
Toddler Soft Play Parties
Specially tailored for 1 – 4-year olds
Children's Parties
Specially tailored for 4 - 10 years,
A mixture of themed and traditional parties available with 20+ themes, and a range of specially created ‘Parties with a twist’ including:
Pop Video Parties
Specially tailored for 7 years - adult.
Not only is the making of a pop video a fantastic experience for everyone involved, it is a really unique and fun event. Professionally filmed, directed and edited the pop video gives you a keepsake you can treasure forever, creating special memories of your starring role you will want to share time and time again!
We truly do have something for everyone!
How many can I invite?
For all Soft Play parties for babies and toddlers, Pop Video Parties, Glitzy Glamour Parties, you can have a minimum of 10 children and a maximum of of 35. For all other parties detailed, we can cater for up to 40 but once numbers reach 21 or over, the price increases per head, depending on the party theme. The increase in price applies to all children attending, due to additional staffing requirements. For a Baby’s First Sensory Party, a minmum of 10 and a maximum of 20 can apply.
Who needs to stay?
One parent must stay with their child if 4 years or under. For children age 5+, parents are very welcome to stay if preferred but can also leave their child with our Leaders and party parents. The exception is during our Pop Video, Glitzy Glamour, Slumber and Makers & Shakers parties, during which we only permit two adults in the party studio at one time. However, we invite all parents to come and watch the Glitzy Glamour Catwalk modelling display 20 minutes before the end of the party when an audience is required to clap and cheer!
Does it matter if I have a wide age range of children at my party?
Not at all. We can cater for parties for any age range. In cases like this we’ll design the parties specifically so that there is something in there for everyone.
Do you cater for dietary requirements
and allergies?
All party food is specially prepared and served as a cold buffet. We want all children to enjoy our parties and will tailor the food to meet the specific needs of every child. We ask you to confirm dietary requirements and allergies a minimum of 7 days prior to any party so we can accommodate all requests.
Can we bring our own food or refreshments?
For children or adults we are health and hygiene registered therefore it is not an option to bring your own food.
Do you give out sweets?
Yes, however as we supply food for the party you will need to provide us with dietary and allergy details for those attending and this is taken into consideration when giving out prizes and treats, so no one is left out and if you do not want sweets other options are available upon request.
Do you offer refreshments for adults?
We have 4 fanstastic adult menu options to choose from, which you can mix and match to your own requirements, served in our reception area. We only allow adult refreshments into our party studio during baby and toddler parties if the children attending are babies – 4 years which are placed in a suitable designated area and consumed only when the children sit down to eat.

How do I book?
If you are happy with everything and wish to confirm your booking, we would require you to complete our Birthday Party Booking Form and pay a non-refundable deposit via phone or in person to secure your booking.
Balance of payment, along with our Birthday Party Attendance Confirmation Form confirming names, numbers, allergies, dietary requirements, adult refreshments and other optional extras is required no later than 7 days prior to the party.
We are a cashless venue, so all payments must be made by card.
